People of Swan Point
Swan Point is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected at an annual meeting of unit owners. The Board then appoints volunteer unit owners to staff three standing committees--Architectural, Communications, and Grounds. A property manager is hired by the Board to handle day to day issues. The current Board members, committee chair persons, and the property management agent are listed below. Included is an e-mail link and a brief folio for each.
As of the Board, Gracie Bradford, plans and conducts monthly Board meetings, including the annual community meeting in September. The purpose of these meetings is to address services, projects, budgetary matters and residents' concerns. She acts as a conduit between the Board and wp&m real estate group, the management company, to ensure the smooth operations within Swan Point. On an ongoing basis the president recruits volunteers for various committees which she and the Board oversee.
Pamela Ford , our supports the president in the board's commitment and interest in maintaining the quality of property and community in Swan Point.
Barbara Boyd, our , develops investment strategies for our reserve funds. She also audits the monthly financial reports received from the property manager and from our broker. She acts as liaison to the Grounds committee.
Kathy Bestany, our , takes the minutes at the monthly Swan Point Board of Directors meetings and provides copies of draft minutes to the Board and approved minutes to the management company for dissemination to Swan Point residents. As a Board member, she assists in formulating annual budget, reviewing proposals from contractors and other service providers, and discussing/resolving issues and problems of the community.
